Project Name: Teach with Purpose! Backward-Design and Performance Assessment in Project-based Language Teaching and Learning for Diverse Classrooms

Overall Aim: The project aims to support effective and inclusive pathways to language teaching and learning, coherent with competence development of primary students from migrants, minorities, refugee background.

Specific Objectives: 

1. To increase the quality of teaching and learning as well as the teachers capacity for integrating and applying interdisciplinary and participatory methods and practices for successful language teaching and supportive assessment of the target students;

2. To build and support learning abilities, multilingual skills, critical thinking, autonomy, teamwork, soft and other 21st

century skills at primary school level and encourage the target primary students’ more active role in the learning process, thus enhancing their motivation to learn and continue their education;

3. To strengthen the expertise of the participating partners to cooperate at European level for developing and providing tools to empower teachers, and raise awareness on the access to affordable and high-quality primary education for all, thus decreasing the early school leaving rates at EU level.
